Five Ways to Avoid Getting Catfished (Staked in the Heart)
When Cato and I were younger, we got the "People online may not be who they say are" idea beaten into our heads by our parents and our teachers. As we've grown up, we've seen countless instances of this happen. Carolina's written an excellent post about it and you can see the link below. I'll quote her first point here:
"Here’s how to avoid getting catfished:
1) First, stop automatically trusting everyone and what they tell you. I talk about the dangers of being trusting here. It isn’t a virtue to trust people, it’s just plain stupid."
