Random Acts of Kindness

While it's true that much of our blog's content centres around the "Manosphere" and our exploration of interactions with other people (particularly in the cultural and dating scenes), it's not all that pops into our heads here on Random Plebeians.

So, with that in mind, I thought I'd re-blog something I saw earlier this evening. It's a BuzzFeed article about acts of generosity and kindness. The truth is that each and every one of us can make a difference. And to someone who we may never know, that difference may mean the world to them.

We remember the ancient prayer which goes, in part:

"...grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned..."
Each of us can be a force for good. Each of us has dignity and things to offer to our fellow man. Every single one of us can contribute and help make our community and our world a better place. It is time we remember this and seek to help others for the sake of helping someone else.
